When things seem easy.

I really hate how sometimes I have to make decisions that I just don't want to make.  I don't want their repercussions, because either way, there WILL be problems with my decision...with this decision.  Who do i choose to alienate? You? or You?....

Right now I'm just waiting for an answer.  Thanks God... I love the lessons, but reeeeeally now?? NOW??? I'm being forced to learn patience.  One of the most difficult things in my life, just being patient. patient. patient. patient............
PATIENCE SUCKS!!!!
or rather. learning patience sucks.

Sometimes, I just want everything to work out the way I want it all to work out, and live my life easy peasy lemon squeezy... but OF COURSE what kind of person does that develop??? Do I really want to be that sad naive person who has never had any trials in their life, and who have never had that opportunity to have involuntarily grown stronger?  Do I want to be have to say that "sorry... I don't know what it could've been.... I never tried it."

I guess this is basically just me convincing myself that waiting is worth it.  I want to be able to say that I went headfirst into this experience, and everything I gained, well... at least I gained it.  Taking risks is the only way anything will ever change sometimes.
But should I? I don't know.
What do I say though?
What do I say when everything I want to say is forbidden.

I hate it when things seem easy.

So far...LOVE.

The day began with some

  • procrastination and lounging around in my BED {that I just put together last night at 2 am... SUPER}
  • thennnn some last minute laundry
  • last minute packing
  • painting...?
  • and of course arguing about nothing before we packed our gigantic bodies into a little 4 door sedan for a 4.5 hour journey to New Hampshire.

Can I just say that sometimes in the car, I'm completely content reading my book and taking notes and highlighting my biblia, but today was different for some reason.
reason: My mom had the music on loud... LOUD loud. and was dancing, which is also rather {HILARIOUS but} distracting from my currently enthralling novel page turner book.
Then there's the whole thing with the B-E-A-YOUUU-TIFUL scenery that God made for me!! specifically for today!

{ITS BECAUSE HE LOVES ME YOU KNOW.
A LOVELY KIND OF LOVE.
{a lovely kind of divine, transcendent, eternal Love that cannot be found anywhere on this earth except for all around us. is this a paradox? nope.}
THE KIND OF LOVELY LOVE THAT MAKES ME FEEL...{all warm and fuzzy and happy and} LOVED.
HIS LOVELY KIND OF LOVING LOVE THAT I FEEL
WHEN HE LOVINGLY REMINDS ME JUST HOW PRECIOUS I AM TO HIS BEAUTIFUL HEART
AND HOW HIS HEART DELIGHTS TOO, WHEN I FIND MY REST IN HIS LOVING ARMS.
{because I know that He yearns for me, and misses me, and always wants to share His heart with me if only I'll listen}}

Tangent #1 completed. {check!}

Also, in bigger and better news, {bigger is always better, dontcha think? LOL jk... *mental pictures* but in this case it is} this awesome book that I'm reading The Authority of the Believer by John A. MacMillan, is kinda fantastic!

He's bringing up points that I've always known that I knew, but never connected them together to come into the understanding that I think God wanted me to.

CASE IN POINT:
The real, pure, AUTHORITY that us believers have because of Jesus' triumphant victory over the grave.  This was due to "the exceeding greatness of His power, to usward who believe, according to the working of the strength of His might" (Eph 19-20) ! The author discussed how the combination of those four words {dunameos, energeian, kratous, and ischuos} {of special significance in the Greek}, signifies that behind the fact of the resurrection of Jesus, there lay the mightiest working recorded in the Word of God...EVER.

So i thought that was pretty cool.
and that would be the end of this blog post, but
HOLD. THE. PHONE!
That is NOT where this story ends!!!!!!!!!
When Jesus was raised from the dead, we were also raised from OUR death with Him!!! (Eph 2:5) The same verb in the Greek is used to express the reviving of Christ as well as the reviving of His people!!! We, the church, the body of Christ, were raised with Him, the head of the Church.  The head and body were raised together, and NOW we are made to sit with Christ "in the heavenly realms" (Eph 2:6)

This is our portion.
This is our birthright, as children adopted into His sonship!!(Eph 1:5,11)
WOWZERS.
That's all I have to say for right now, I feel like I haven't fully conveyed my heart, but if you'll excuse me, I have a book to read.
